This brochure was designed for a young British team of explorers attempting to get funding to travel to the North Pole. Using a map-like grid, I focus on promoting the team’s courage and determination, a dream that potential sponsors would value. It was important to show a sponsor that they, and their company, could exist vicariously through the expedition, with its values mirroring theirs. Design decisions focus on the grandeur of the expedition, displayed in photography and through the use of a dynamic grid. I stress the vast horizon present in photographs through size and orientation of the piece. The final product celebrated the team’s courage and determination, a dream that potential sponsors would value on a personal level, and could reflect their business strategy.
